This e-learning course provides you with mandatory data protection training for the use of Heidi Plus at a Gold user level.

This course is available on demand (online).

As a Gold user and/or Lead Contact you will have access to Gold, unrounded and raw data about individuals ie students, staff and leavers in Heidi Plus.

The course will set out the appropriate uses of the data contained within Heidi Plus, including:

  • Legislative requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (GDPR) and the specific terms of use set out by HESA data, powered by Jisc
  • Your responsibilities as a Gold user and/or Lead Contact

Please ensure you watch the short training videos for each section carefully, you will require audio/headset, and answer a series of questions afterwards, you can take a break at any point.
